Abstract

WORK FILM work is central to the Emmaus model When companions join an Emmaus community, they sign off all personal benefits and commit to working full time to the best of their ability in one of Emmaus's social enterprise business. HISTORY FILM Celebrating 25 years of Emmaus in the UK 2016 is the 25th anniversary of Emmaus in the UK. Some of the people who were involved in the early days talk about how they got the first community up and running why they chose the Emmaus model. SOLIDARITY FILM ‪Companions explain why solidarity, or helping people in greater need, is so important at Emmaus‬ Solidarity is a crucial part of Emmaus's ethos. When they join an Emmaus community, companions are encouraged to help those in greater need.
